Rebecca and Andrew’s Dublin wedding

Rebecca and Andrew’s Dublin wedding took place just a few days before Christmas last year in Fallon and Byrne. Little did we know what 2020 would bring as we rang in the New Year just over one week later!

There is something special about a festive wedding. I often say a wedding morning must feel a little like Christmas morning for a bride. So it must feel like double the excitement when you combine the two together. Not only was this a festive wedding but it was a festive wedding in the city centre. And there really is no better place to be than Dublin city centre to soak up the Christmas atmosphere and get you in a festive mood.

The wedding-morning hair and makeup prep got underway in The Westbury Hotel with Rebecca and her girls. Rebecca opted for strong eye makeup with warm brown tones and flicked black liner for her bridal makeup look. A nude lip and glowing skin complimented the look perfectly. I used a combination of Mac Saddle and Texture Shadows. Mac Costa Riche and Blacktrack liners added depth and precision to the shadow. All completed with Mac Honeylove Lipstick and Charlotte Tilbury Seduction Gloss. Jamie Browne from Brown Sugar created some beautiful soft waves to complete Rebecca’s look.

Epic Love Photography

Rob Dight from Epic Love Photography documented the day with these amazing shots. I’m sure you’ll agree his work is amazing and Rebecca looks incredible! The beauty of a blog is that I can share so many of them with you as I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite! I love receiving professional images and seeing the end result. Thank you, Rob, for sharing your work with me and thank you, Rebecca, for sending the images to me along with these kind words…

‘’ Thank you so much for everything you did for my big day, I have never felt so beautiful and I know the bridesmaids feel the same. You are so talented at what you do and the way you make people feel is incredible so thank you.’’
